Appellate courts give new twist on health care payments
Monday, November 30, 2009
San Francisco Chronicle: The Chronicle’s Bob Egelko reports about a California appellate decision that gives a new twist in the health care issue. Accident victims and insurers for those who caused the accidents are squaring off over the amount due for the victims’ medical bills – a total that could run into the hundreds of millions of dollars. One ruling came out last week and another decision is due any day.
