Automakers keep adding dangerous distractions to vehicles

FairWarning.org: “[E]ven as they tell drivers to act responsibly and pay attention to the road, [automakers] are seeking to pump up sales by packing their new models with cutting-edge infotainment systems that encourage multi-tasking behind the wheel,” writes Myron Levin of FairWarning.org. Levin reports safety officials are worried about the trend, and there are no federal regulations to ensure consumer safety.
