• FDA to crack down on medical radiation errors Friday, April 9, 2010

    New York Times:  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says it will make changes in the approval process for new radiotherapy equipment in order to reduce the number of improper dosage administrations and other errors related to medical radiation.  “The F.D.A.’s announcement is the latest in a growing list of initiatives by medical groups, regulators and legislators aimed at making medical radiation safer,” writes Walt Bogdanich.
