Houston Chronicle: Jury selection is underway in the case of a woman who says she was drugged and gang raped by coworkers six years ago while working for a contractor in Iraq, writes Jessica Priest. Jamie Leigh Jones has gained national attention for her efforts to take the case to court after her employer, KBR, a subsidiary of Halliburton, “asserted that a clause in her employee contract required she settle all claims against the company and its employees through arbitration,” Priest reports. Jones’ story is featured in the documentary “Hot Coffee,” set to debut on HBO June 27.
