GM isn’t doing much to end problem of kids dying in car trucks

FairWarning.org: “Nearly 10 years after the federal government mandated interior trunk releases in new autos, older cars never equipped with the safety devices continue to kill children drawn by curiosity into a little-known hazard,” writes Christine Young. She says three children have died in just the last two months after being trapped in the trunks of General Motors vehicles and reports it is “impossible, or at least very difficult,” to buy GM’s retrofit for older cars.
