  • How a corporate remake of the Ohio Supreme Court reduced protection for injured workers Thursday, March 25, 2010

ThePopTort.com:  The Ohio Supreme Court has upheld a 2005 state law that means, according to the author of this post, “knowingly putting a worker in harm’s way will not expose an employer to liability.”  After the court had struck down an identical law in 1999, millions of dollars in corporate campaign spending led to the election of sympathetic judges who upheld the law after it was repassed by the Ohio legislature.
