• Medical negligence cases are declining even without caps on damage awards Thursday, March 11, 2010

    Harrisburg (Pa.) Patriot-News:  Here’s another case of a decline in medical negligence lawsuits even in a state that has no restrictions on the amount juries can award to victims as damages.  David Wenner writes Pennsylvania saw an almost 40% decline in suits filed from 2000 to 2008, even though lawmakers there have not implemented any restrictions on damage awards.
