A new film from the Alliance for Justice “explores the growing pro-corporate bias in key Court decisions and their real-world impact on ordinary Americans,” according to the filmmakers. The film’s title, “Unequal Justice: The Relentless Rise of the 1% Court,” reflects the filmmakers’ view than the Court has become skewed to favor the nation’s wealthiest 1%. “Taking judicial activism to new levels,” the filmmakers say, “these justices have rendered a series of pivotal cases to fundamentally change the balance of power in American society, favoring business interests and limiting access to legal remedies for everyone else.” More about the film and the people involved as well as some video extras can be found here, and the complete 20-minute video can be viewed below:
