NFL head coach’s only loss was to Chinese drywall
Friday, December 11, 2009
New Orleans Times-Picayune: Sean Payton, head coach of the NFL’s unbeaten (as of this writing) New Orleans Saints, will be the lead plaintiff in a federal class action suit against a Chinese drywall manufacturer. More than 2,000 people signed up to be part of the suit. Payton was chosen as lead plaintiff “because he was among the first people in Louisiana to link news reports about bad drywall to televisions, computers and electrical equipment failing in his Mandeville home and his family becoming ill.” The drywall made by the company named in the suit was distributed only in Gulf Coast states.
