• Online “cookies” producing privacy concerns, legal actions Tuesday, September 21, 2010

    New York TimesTanzina Vega reports on the “growing number of consumers who are taking legal action against companies that track computer users’ activity on the Internet.”  Privacy advocates say “Flash cookies” — which can’t be rejected by users the same way as HTML cookies — may allow companies to collect detailed information about consumers without their knowledge.
