Eureka (Cal.) Times-Standard:  John Driscoll reports a confidential settlement has been reached with Mad River Community Hospital in Arcata, Cal., after a radiology technician administered 151 CT scans to a 2-year-old boy over a 65-minute period.  The case, along with the overradiation of more than 200 patients at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, has led to proposed legislation that would make it possible for medical providers to better track patients’ radiation exposure.
