Some facts behind the “Starbucks tea case”

A New York tennis pro has filed suit after suffering second-degree burns when the lid (put on by a barista) came off her cup of Starbucks hot tea. Zeynap Inanli spent five days in a hospital burn unit as a result of her injuries. The case is starting to gain international attention, and New York attorney Eric Turkewitz fills in some of the facts on his blog.
