  • Starbucks blames employee for doing what managers told her to do Monday, December 7, 2009

    Daily Journal:  A California federal judge has ruled a $5 million lawsuit alleging Starbucks Corp. failed to pay overtime and minimum wages may go to trial.  Summer York says her managers made her work off-the-clock at least once a week.  Starbucks attorneys argued it was York’s fault she was underpaid, sayng she failed to record her work time “in violation of company policy” and “choosing to submit time records that she apparently knew were inaccurate.”
