• U.S. Supreme Court could take away “the most powerful legal tool available to the little guy” Friday, November 5, 2010

    Los Angeles Times:  Columnist David Lazarus previews a case that will be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court on November 9, in which such businesses as credit card issuers, cell phone providers and cable TV companies want the ability to bar consumers from filing class-action lawsuits.  “This would take away in such cases arguably the most powerful legal tool available to the little guy, particularly in cases involving relatively small amounts of money,” Lazarus writes.
