Zell deposition delayed until after the holiday

Sam Zell, whose success in Chicago real estate is inversely related to his reign over the Tribune media company (owner of the Los Angeles Times), won a reprieve in the scheduling of his deposition stemming from Tribune’s bankruptcy case.
Zell was to have been deposed on Monday, but lawyers for Wells Fargo, one of the bankruptcy petitioners, agreed to let Zell put it off until next week.
Must be he has big weekend plans — like a poker game in Col. McCormick’s old Tribune Tower office? We’ll keep you posted.
